The organized physical layer

Passive infrastructure decides how much of a network's performance is actually available. Route selection, bend radius, separation, termination quality and labeling all determine whether a channel certifies and whether faults can be found quickly later.

Rakiza installs copper and fiber systems to the approved specification and manufacturer requirements, and proves the result with test data.

Horizontal and riser copper installation, outlet and patch panel termination, dressing and channel certification.

Fiber infrastructure

Backbone and inter-cabinet fiber, trunk and cassette systems, splicing where specified, inspection, cleaning and optical testing.

Pathways & containment

Tray, basket, ladder, trunking and conduit installation with correct support, separation and fill discipline.

Cabinets & patch fields

Cabinet assembly, patch field layout, vertical and horizontal cable management, grounding and access provisions.

Labeling & port verification

A consistent identification scheme applied to cables, panels, ports and cabinets, then verified end to end.

Certification

Fluke copper certification and fiber optical loss and OTDR testing, issued as a structured test pack.

    Route survey first

    Containment capacity, separation from power and realistic pull routes are confirmed before material is ordered to site.

  2. 02

    Install to the specification

    Component sets, bend radius, tension and termination practice follow the approved specification and manufacturer instructions.

  3. 03

    Test progressively

    Links are tested as they complete, so failures are corrected while access is still open.

  4. 04

    Hand over records

    Port schedules, as-built routes and test results are issued together as a usable maintenance reference.
